A: All evictions are done according to the provincial legislation procedures through the Office of the Rentalsman and the Sheriffs Department.
Q: Are you available 24/7?
A: Yes, there will be someone on call 24hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Q: How much does property management cost?
A: Rates vary depending on the services. Our core services are offered for a monthly percentage of rents collected or for a flat rate. Please contact us for more detailed information.
Q: How come your prices and full details are not on your website?
A: There are a few reasons that rates do not appear on our website. Our rates do vary from client to client depending on the services they choose. Rates are not advertised on our website to comply with our confidentiality agreement between our clients, our affiliates and partners. For a quote on services please contact us.
Q: Will you actively search for tenants to fill my unit?
A: We do actively search for tenants to fill your unit. We will advertise any vacancies on local classified websites as well as our own websites. Your monthly management fee does not include additional advertising; however we can accommodate these requests on a case by case basis.
We also use an independent leasing specialist to help fill vacant properties. This service is not included in the management fees as it fulfilled by an independent contractor. Please contact us for more details.
Q: What other fees or charges are involved other than the monthly fees.
A: We are not responsible for the cost of repairs or maintenance. These expenses will be paid by the owner or owning company. Any out of pocket expenses incurred by HPM during the month will also be excluded from that month's remittance along with a statement.
